- Sold 50,331 units until October 2021
- City speed portfolio led the sales chart
- Aims to achieve one million-unit sales in five years
Hero Electric has announced that it has crossed the 50,000-unit sales mark. The company said in its press statement that this number was achieved due to the increased demand in the current fiscal year. The company further added that this milestone will help it achieve a strong sales target and market share by the end of FY2022.
The city speed portfolio, which comprises the Optima and NYX, led the sales graph and helped the electric two-wheeler maker achieve this milestone. Hero Electric had expanded its distribution network into newer markets and reached a wider audience. The company has also partnered with multiple EV startups to strengthen the last mile delivery market and expand its B2B business.
Furthermore, the company added that it is progressing towards its aim of achieving one million sales in the next five years by expanding its product portfolio and sales touchpoints. Last month, Hero Electric had announced that it plans to open 300 new sales touchpoints across the country and to expand its reach to 1,000 sales touchpoints by the end of FY2022.
