- Hero is offering old two-wheeler exchange bonus of Rs 4000
- Discount of Rs 2000 under the loyalty program
- Special discount for teachers
Hero MotoCorp is offering special discounts on its scooters across India. Aimed largely at luring the scooter buyers, the company has rolled out three attractive schemes including a two-wheeler exchange program, loyalty program and a special discount for teachers.
Under the two-wheeler exchange scheme, the customers need to bring their old motorcycle/scooter to an authorised dealership and get it evaluated by the dedicated representative provided by the dealer. By paying the finalised difference amount, the buyer can purchase one of the Hero scooters. Moreover, the dealers are also offering an additional discount of Rs 4,000 on the difference amount.
Under the loyalty program, Hero is offering a concession of Rs 2000 on the purchase of new scooter, provided a family member of the buyer already owns a Hero product. To avail the same, the buyer simply needs to provide the registration certificate of their existing Hero bike/scooter. Lastly, for prospective buyers pursuing their careers as teachers, the company is offering a discount of Rs 1500 on motorcycles and Rs 2500 on scooters.
While Hero dealers have already started offering these benefits, an official announcement from the manufacturer is expected shortly. These schemes can be linked to Hero’s attempt to counter the drop in its scooter sales over the last few months. Hero’s current scooter portfolio consists of the Destini 125, Duet, Maestro Edge, Maestro Edge 125, Pleasure and Pleasure Plus.
