Hero MotoCorp recorded its best ever monthly sales in September 2017. The company sold 7.20 lakh two-wheelers in the last month, which is six per cent more than what it had managed in September 2016.
This is the first time Hero MotoCorp has recorded a monthly sales of over seven lakh units. The company’s previous highest monthly sales number was in August 2017, when it sold 6.78 lakhs two-wheelers. With this, the company has consolidated its position as the country’s biggest two-wheeler manufacturer. Hero has achieved this milestone riding on robust demand for two-wheelers during the festive season. The Splendor is the biggest money spinner for the company, as well as the highest selling motorcycle in the country.
Recently, Hero added a feather to its cap by cumulatively selling over 7.5 crore two-wheelers since its inception. The company announced special schemes to commemorate this achievement.
