Hero MotoCorp has reported its sales data for November 2022 and the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer registered a 12 per cent growth in the year-on-year numbers over the corresponding month last year. The company sold 3,90,932 units of its motorcycles and scooters during the recently concluded month as against 3,49,393 units in November last year.
Domestic sales grew from 3,28,862 units in November 2021 to 3,79,839 units in November this year. Meanwhile, exports decreased from 20,531 units in November 2021 to 11,093 units in November 2022. The overall motorcycle sales grew from 3,29,185 units in November last year to 3,52,834 units in November 2022. The scooter business witnessed sales growth too, and the numbers increased from 20,208 units to 38,098 units during the same period.
Hero MotoCorp added in its press statement that it expects the momentum to build up in the coming quarters on account of favourable economic indicators. During the month, Hero MotoCorp introduced the Vida brand and launched its first Experience Center in Bengaluru. Up next, the company will open Vida Experience Centers in Jaipur and Delhi. The deliveries of the Vida V1 electric scooters are expected to commence in the second week of December 2022.
