Hero MotoCorp has released the sales data for April 2022. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer sold 4,18,622 units in April 2022 as against 3,72,285 units in the corresponding month last year, registering a growth of 12.4 per cent.
The motorcycle sales grew from 3,39,329 units in April 2021 to 3,92,627 units in April 2022. The scooter sales, on the other hand, fell from 32,956 units in April 2021 to 25,995 units in April 2022. The domestic sales increased to 3,98,490 units in April 2022 as against 3,42,614 units in April 2021. The exports declined to 20,132 units in April 2022 as against 29,671 units in the corresponding month last year.
The company said in its press statement that with the economy gradually opening up and continued government policy support, April volumes indicate the continuously improving consumer sentiments. In other updates, Hero MotoCorp has revised the prices of its products in the Indian market. This price revision is effective from April 2022.
