- Sales to go up further during the festive season
Hero MotoCorp has released its sales figures for the month of August 2023. The company sold 4,88,717 units of motorcycles and scooters in the previous month as compared to 4,62,608 units sold in the corresponding month last year, thus marking a growth of 5.64% YoY.
Of the total sales number, 7% were from scooters whereas the remaining 93% came from motorcycles. Further, among motorcycles, the Splendor and HF Deluxe range contribute to around 90% of the sales. The export numbers also saw a significant growth of 32.88% in August 2023 compared to the same period last year.
Hero claims that the sales figures are likely to go up in the coming months with the onset of the festive season and decent agricultural activity this year. Moreover, the launch of the new Karizma XMR is further expected to bring positive growth for the brand.
