- Domestic sales witnessed negative growth

Hero MotoCorp has announced its sales data for the month of August 2021. The company sold a total of 4,53,879 units in August 2021 as against 5,84,456 units in the corresponding month last year. The motorcycle and scooter sales stood at 4,20,609 units and 33,270 units in August 2021, respectively. In comparison, Hero MotoCorp sold 5,44,658 motorcycles and 39,798 scooters in August last year.
The domestic sales for August 2021 stood at 4,31,137 units as against 5,68,674 units in the corresponding month last year. The exports witnessed positive growth and Hero MotoCorp sold 22,742 units in the international market in the last month as against 15,782 units in August 2020.
The year-to-date figures grew from 16,62,233 units in the previous financial year to 19,32,784 units in the current financial year. Hero MotoCorp is now gearing up for the upcoming festive season and the company remains optimistic about demand in the coming months.
