Hero MotoCorp sales down in July

-         Hero MotoCorp sales dropped in July

-         Domestic sales grew marginally

-         Launched limited edition XPulse model

Hero MotoCorp has reported negative sales for July. The company sold a total of 4,45,580 two-wheelers last month against 4,54,398 units the same month in 2021.

The drop in July sales is due to reduced exports. The company exported 14,896 units last month whereas it exported 25,190 units in July 2022. The domestic sales, however, have marginally improved to 4,30,684 units.  The Gurgaon-based manufacturer grows in double digits when it comes to quarter-on-quarter growth. A total of 14,78,905 units were sold in the last quarter which resulted in 24.1 per cent growth.

Last month, the company launched a new version of the XPulse – rally variant which is a limited edition model. Surprisingly, the company doesn’t do much of limited runs but it looks like the brand wants to experiment with this with some of its favourite two-wheeler brands.
