- Hero sells 3.95 lakh two-wheelers last month

Hero MotoCorp has sold around 3,94,773 motorcycles and scooters in India last month. Out of the total sales, 3,74,485 were sold in India whereas the rest of 20,288 two-wheelers were exported.
The company sold a total of 4,47,335 units in December 20 that means its overall sales decreased by almost 12 per cent last month. As of now, majority of the sales for the company comes from motorcycles, especially from three brands – Splendor, Passion and Glamour. Its scooter range contributes little but does hold decent brand value in the market.
Hero MotoCorp also announced its highest sales in global markets in the current calendar year. It sold 2.89 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters in the last calendar year as compared to 1.69 lakh units in 2020. The brand current sells its bikes and scooters in South Africa, Central America, Carribean and also some parts of Asia.
