It looks like Hero MotoCorp is going to have an extremely busy 2025. The company is planning to showcase a range of new models at the upcoming 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo and then launch some of those models in India. In this story, we tell you about the top five motorcycles and scooters that Hero MotoCorp has decided to launch in India this year.
Xpulse 210
Hero MotoCorp’s entry-level adventure bike brand, the Xpulse, will go liquid-cooled in 2025. The company had unveiled the Xpulse 210 at last year’s EICMA and that brought a lot of excitement among India buyers. While majority of the styling cues resembled its 200cc sibling, a lot of body panels are new and that has made the motorcycle look quite big. However, the major change has come in its performance – it has a new 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. This engine produces 25bhp and 20Nm of peak torque. But the Xpulse being an adventure bike, the gear ratios will be quite different.
Karizma XMR 250
The good-looking Karizma XMR is also getting a big upgrade this year. The Karizma XMR 250 is a more powerful avatar of its 210cc sibling. In fact, the overall styling of this 250cc Karizma looks far sharper and aspirational than the Karizma XMR 210. Once launched, it will go against some Japanese motorcycles.
Xtreme 250R
The Xtreme 250R is the naked version of the Karizma XMR 250. This brand is quite strong in India, and over the last decade, Xtreme has made its presence felt in multiple segments. But this is the first time, it will compete with some of the best 250cc street bikes in India.
The Destini 125 is Hero’s first modern retro-looking scooter, which we rode a few months ago. But sadly, it wasn’t launched during the festive season as informed. In 2025, this scooter shall be launched with a price tag that is likely to undercut some of its rivals.
Hero Xoom 125R & Xoom 160
There are two Xooms that could be launched in 2025. One is a 125cc premium scooter and the other is a 160cc adventure-styled scooter. Both these products were unveiled a few years ago, but it looks like 2025 is when one of the scooters will make its way to Hero showrooms, and we would like that to be the Xoom 160 as it will help the brand create a new segment, and that is a good thing for Hero MotoCorp as Indian consumers will start perceiving it as an aspirational scooter company.
