Hero MotoCorp to resume factory operations from 17 May

Hero MotoCorp has decided to resume its manufacturing operations in a staggered manner from 17 May.  

The single-shift production will resume in three of its factories – Gurugram, Dharuhera and Haridwar. The motorcycles and scooters from these scooters will be sold in India as well as exported to other countries. The company claims that safety and hygiene protocols are in place in these factories. 

The Gurgaon-based manufacturer had shut its manufacturing facilities from April 22 till May 2, which was later extended to May 16. The company also claims that it has vaccinated 90 per cent of its 45+ aged employees.
