Hero MotoCorp to temporarily shut down all factories

- Hero to shut down 5 factories temporarily

- Will carry out maintenance work

Hero MotoCorp has decided to temporarily shut down all its plants to combat the second wave of COVID-19.

The company has decided to shut down its plants in Haridwar, Dharuhera, Gurgaon, Neemrana and Vadodara. Each of these factories are expected to remain shut for a few days between April 22 and May 1.

The company plans to use these days to carry out maintenance work. The Gurgaon-based manufacturer believes that the loss of production and sales due to ongoing second wave will be compensated during the remainder of the quarter.
