Hero MotoCorp has reported its sales data for the month of July 2021. The Indian two-wheeler brand sold a total of 4,54,398 units in July 2021 as against 5,20,104 units in the corresponding month last year; a decline of 65,706 units. The company sold 4,29,208 units in the domestic market in July 2021 as compared to 5,12,541 units in July last year. The exports, on the other hand, grew from 7,563 units in July 2020 to 25,190 units last month.
The company said in a press statement that while most of the retail touch-points of the company are operational across the country, localised lockdowns imposed by certain states continue to restrict customer movement.
The company recently updated its Indian product portfolio with the launch of two new models, the Glamour 125 Xtec and the 2021 Maestro Edge 125. Internationally, Hero MotoCorp commenced retail sales in the key market of Mexico. The Company introduced motorcycles such as the Xpulse 200, Xpulse 200T, Hunk 190, Hunk 160R, Hunk 150, Eco 150 TR, Eco 150 Cargo, Ignitor 125, and the Dash 125 in the country.
