- Hero MotoCorp to increase prices of its products
- New prices to be applicable from 3 July, 2023
- Updated prices would be about 1.5 per cent higher
Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will make an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters in the Indian market. The revised prices would be effective from July 3, 2023, and the increase will be about 1.5 per cent higher than the current prices. Notably, the exact quantum of increase will vary by specific models and markets.
The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer said in its press statement that this upward revision of the prices of motorcycles and scooters is a part of the price review that the company undertakes from time to time, keeping in mind various factors like price positioning, input costs, and business imperatives. Further, Hero MotoCorp added that it will continue offering financing programs to minimise the impact on the customers.
Despite the price revision, Hero MotoCorp expects sales to grow in the coming weeks. The onset of monsoon in most parts of the country and overall economic indicators bode well for a growth in demand, and industry volumes are expected to pick up, leading into the upcoming festive season.
The company is expected to re-introduce the Karizma brand very soon in the Indian market. This product was recently showcased to dealer partners in the country, and we expect to hear a launch announcement ahead of the high-demand festive season.
