- New prices to be effective from 1 July, 2022
- Revised prices will be up to Rs 3,000 higher
- Price hike necessitated due to growing overall costs
Hero MotoCorp has announced that it will revise the prices of its products in the Indian market. This upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters will be effective from 1 July, 2022.
While the exact, product-wise details of the price revision are not available yet, the two-wheeler maker said that the revised ex-showroom tags will be up to Rs 3,000 higher than current prices. The exact increase will be subject to the specific model and market.
The company added that the price revision has been necessitated to partially offset the steadily growing overall costs, including commodity prices. This price increase is not likely to bring any cosmetic or mechanical changes to Hero MotoCorp’s motorcycles and scooters.
In more updates, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has updated its Turkish portfolio with the launch of the Euro5-compliant XPulse 200 4V. This model has received an updated headlight design that features a revised position for the LED DRLs and projector-style LED headlight. We could see similar updates to the India-spec model too, although the details are unavailable yet.
