Hero's TVS Ntorq 125 rival to be unveiled today at EICMA!

- Design patent leaked last month

- Will rival the TVS Ntorq 125

- Has been spotted testing in India

Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil its latest 125cc sporty scooter at the EICMA 2023. It will rival the TVS Ntorq 125 and here is what we expect from the upcoming Hero scooter.

Hero Front Panel/Front Apron

The scooter teased in Hero MotoCorp's latest videos looks very similar to the design patent that was leaked last month and also the scooter that was spotted testing in June. Its design cues include a sharp front end and it houses a full LED light in the apron. The handlebar cowl likely packs the turn indicators. Then, the rear side panels are also filled with cuts and creases and look quite aerodynamic. The scooter gets a single-piece seat with a slight scoop for the rider's part. Interestingly, these are the same elements seen on the leaked design patent and the test mule.

LEAKED! Hero MotoCorp’s TVS Ntorq 125-rival scooter in the works!

Hero's 125 scooter range currently has the Maestro Edge 125, Destini 125, and the Grazia. However, the brand’s stable still has room for another model that will rival the TVS Ntorq 125. So, the upcoming scooter could use a 125cc single-cylinder engine. But whether the engine will be the same as Hero's current 125cc unit or will the brand build a new one is something we are yet to know.

Then, you can also expect features like full LED illumination, fully digital instrument console, and probably smartphone connectivity, too. The hardware will include telescopic front forks and a single rear shock, while the brakes will comprise a front disc and rear drum. That said, the test mule has a slightly larger rear wheel, so Hero could use a comparatively bigger alloy than what it currently employs on its 125cc scooters.
