- New Vida off-road bike registered
- Made for kids
- Production model launch in a few years
Hero MotoCorp unveiled a host of new motorcycles at EICMA 2024, including under its EV brand, Vida. Some of these vehicles were concept vehicles, and some were production vehicles. But it looks like the company plans to launch more EVs.
The company has registered a new design of an electric vehicle. This EV is different from what was shown in the EICMA 2024. From the picture, it is clear that this is an electric off-road bike built for kids. However, it is more of a learner’s bike and not meant for competitions.
The electric bike is seen with two large spoke wheels, a single seat, and a centrally mounted electric motor. The footpegs are center-set, and the tyres look off-road ready. The patent picture doesn’t show a disc brake at the back, but interestingly, there’s no braking system at the front. This could change if the bike goes into production.
Hero MotoCorp unveiled Vida Concept Aero at EICMA 2024. This electric bike featured quite a few unique features and specifications. However, the patent picture looks quite different from the Concept Aero. So, it looks like the company is developing a range of new EVs based on a common platform.
