Honda 2Wheelers India has reported its sales numbers for March 2021. The Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand closed March 2021 on a positive note, clocking a total of 4,11,037 unit sales. The domestic sales during March 2021 stood at 395,037 units as against 245,716 units in March last year. Honda exported 16,000 units during the month. The overall sales for FY2020-21 stood at 4,073,182 two-wheelers.
The company introduced several new and updated models during the recently concluded financial year. Honda 2Wheelers India introduced five models in the middleweight segment (Hness CB350, CB350 RS, CB500X, CB650R, and CBR650R) and three products in the 1000cc and above segment (CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, and 2021 Africa Twin Adventure Sports).
The company also updated several of its products to comply with the new emission norms. Honda also introduced the Repsol Honda editions of Hornet 2.0 and Dio, along with the 20th Anniversary edition of Activa 6G and the Sports edition of the Grazia.
Honda 2Wheelers India also expanded its premium dealership network, Honda BigWing to over 50 touchpoints across the country. This includes the BigWing Topline (premium motorcycle - 300cc to 1800cc) and BigWing (mid-size motorcycles).
