Honda recently launched its latest offering, the Airblade 160 in Vietnam. The sporty-looking scooter is offered in two variants: standard and special edition. Let’s take a closer look at it through these images.
The Honda Airblade 160 features sharp bodywork. It gets split LED headlights and a small smoked visor on the handlebar cowl. The side profile too seems quite aerodynamic and the overall appearance makes it a direct rival to the Yamaha Aerox 155.
It gets a 160cc single-cylinder motor that develops 15.2bhp and 14.2Nm. Compared to the Aerox 155’s 14.79 bhp and 13.9 Nm, the Airblade 160 makes slightly more power.
On the feature front, apart from LED illumination, Honda has equipped the Airblade 160 with a USB charging slot, keyless operation as well as a fully digital LCD instrument cluster. The console houses various readouts like the odometer, speedometer, fuel level, fuel consumption as well as time.
Suspension hardware on the Airblade comprises telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks. Meanwhile, the braking setup consists of a single front and rear disc setup. It rides on a 90/80 front and a 100/80 rear tyre setup.
The Honda Airblade 180 gets a fuel tank capacity of 4.4-litres. Honda offers the maxi-scooter in two variants and four paint schemes overall: Blue Gray Black, Red Gray, Blue Gray, and Black Gray.
The asking price of the Honda Airblade 160 is set at 57,190,000 VND (approximately Rs 1.91 lakh) in Vietnam. As of now, Honda India has no plans of bringing it to India.
