In a bid to expand its sub 400cc portfolio in India, Honda launched the CB300F here yesterday. The bike’s priced at Rs 2.26 lakh for the Deluxe variant while the Deluxe Pro trim costs Rs 2.29 lakh. Let’s see what other options you have for a similar asking price.
Yezdi Scrambler
The first model on the list of alternatives to the CB300F is the Yezdi Scrambler. It’s priced at Rs 2,13,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the dual-tone paint scheme. In typical Scrambler fashion, the Yezdi offering is a proper rugged motorcycle. It gets dual-purpose rubber wrapped around spoked wheels, retro-styling all over and a peppy motor. The latter is a 334cc unit with the output rated at 28.7 bhp and 28.2 Nm. It gets a LED headlight and a fully digital instrument console.
Royal Enfield Himalayan

Another popular offering that you could consider against the Honda C300F is the Bajaj Dominar 400. It’s priced at Rs 2,23,538 (ex-showroom Delhi) and gets LED illumination all around and a fully digital instrument console. Powering the Dominar 400 is a 373cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor from the KTM 390 Duke. The power figures are 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm. Bajaj too offers touring accessories with the Dominar 400 for an added premium.
KTM 250 Duke
The KTM 250 Duke is priced at Rs 2,37,222 (ex-showroom Delhi). It gets a sharp and youthful design and features LED illumination as well as a fully digital instrument cluster. Powering the quarter-liter Austrian bike is a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor. Its output is rated at 29.6 bhp and 24 Nm. KTM has equipped the 250 Duke with USD front forks and a monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
KTM 250 Adventure
Another KTM offering that you can buy in the same price bracket as the CB300F is the 250 Adventure. It costs Rs 2,44,205 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is powered by the same engine as the 250 Duke with identical power and torque. The 250 ADV gets an LCD cluster. LED illumination and dual-channel ABS.
