- Get new HRC livery in Indonesian market
- No mechanical changes
- Unlikely to be launched in India
Honda has unveiled special edition models of the CBR150R and the CBR250RR in Indonesia.
The two motorcycles are adorned with the HRC livery that consists of bright red with blue and white highlights. This livery looks similar to the one on Honda’s flagship supersport- the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. Besides this, the CBR150R and the CBR250RR remain the same as their standard counterparts.
In terms of design, the CBR150R and CBR250RR look identical. They get a sharp styling overall complimented by full-LED lighting. While the CBR150R gets a digital LCD instrument cluster, the CBR250RR doubles up on features and offers ride-by-wire, three riding modes and a quickshifter as standard. As for the engine, the CBR150R is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder motor that produces 17bhp and 14.4Nm. On the other hand, the CBR250RR comes with a 249cc, parallel-twin engine that is good for 41bhp and 25Nm.
And while both motorcycles are a tempting proposition, they will not make their way to India anytime soon. This is due to the fact that Honda will not be able to price the CBR150R or the CBR250RR competitively.
