- Gets a new paint scheme
- Now available in a touring variant too
- Powered by a 1084cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine
Honda has taken the wraps off the latest iteration of the Rebel 1100. The Japanese cruiser has received a mild update for 2022 and another variant as well.
The CMX1100 is now available in an Iridium Grey Metallic paint scheme. It retains the low stance with the scooped seat, wide handlebar, and bulbous fuel tank. It gets a round LED headlight adding up to the overall retro theme.
Further, Honda has also added another variant to the Rebel 1100 range. It’s dubbed the CMX1100T and is a more touring-friendly version with a bat fairing. The T model also gets a wider handlebar, panniers, and an added rear seat. The right side pannier’s capacity is 16-litres and that for the left one is 19-litres.
With the added parts, the CMX1100T Rebel weighs 15kg more and now tips the scale at 238kg. That said, the DCT model weighs even more at 248kg. Both trims continue to be powered by a 1084cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. It develops 85bhp and 98Nm and comes with a six-speed gearbox. Even the front forks, monoshock, and front and rear disc brakes with ABS have been retained.
Honda is unlikely to bring the bike to India anytime soon.
