An internal video of the Honda CRF 1000L Africa Twin has been leaked on the internet, ahead of the bike’s official unveiling. The black and white video compilation features scenes of the adventure motorcycle being put through its paces on different kinds of terrains and seems to be shot during the bike’s testing.
The video previews the CRF 1000L’s spoke wheels, loaded switchgear as well as the characteristic parallel-twin exhaust note. Though the CRF 1000L does look very similar to the True Adventure concept from the 2014 EICMA Show, the production model ditches the cylindrical exhaust pipe in favour of a boxy canister with twin outlets.
Earlier this week, Honda released a teaser of the CRF 1000L Africa Twin along with some technical details of the bike. This modern incarnation of the iconic XVR750 Africa Twin will be powered by a 1,000cc parallel-twin engine with a DCT dual-clutch transmission. Check out the leaked video for more dope on the motorcycle.
