- New Cross Cub adventure bike unveiled
- Gets off-road tyres, fork gaiters
- Launched in China at Rs 1.40 lakh
Honda has just released an interesting two-wheeler for the Chinese market – it is called the Cross Cub 110 and it is more like an adventure version of the famous Super Cub.
Based on the famous Cub platform, the Cross Cub 110 has been launched to cater to a segment that wants something versatile and also aesthetically good-looking. The Cross Cub 110 gets off-road ready tyres, fork gaiters, headlight guard and also taller ground clearance. These off-road elements make this two-wheeler look quite rugged and utilitarian. Other than these aspects, most of the cycle parts have been borrowed from the Cub siblings.
Powering this Cross Cub 110 is the 110cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which makes just 8bhp of peak power and decent torque too. This motor is mated to a four-speed gearbox and allows the bike to reach a claimed top speed of 85kmph. With these figures, it is clear that this Honda is primarily made for urban conditions.
The Honda Cross Cub 110 is currently sold in the Chinese market and costs around Rs 1.40 lakh. It is available in multiple colours but looks the best in yellow due to its vibrant nature.
