- 2024 Dax 125 gets a new all-black colour
- Instrument cluster upgraded as well
- India launch unlikely
Honda has updated its famous mini motorcycle – the Dax 125 for 2024. This motorcycle has received a new paint scheme and a bunch of new features.
For 2024, the Dax 125 gets this cool all-black colour, which was never seen before. The idea behind this paint scheme was to give a cooler appeal to this mini motorcycle. Along with this, Honda has given the riders the option to buy some accessories, primarily developed for this motorcycle. There are soft saddle bags, along with a chrome rear carrier. An immobilizer and heated grips can be purchased as an option.
The Japanese brand has also updated the instrument cluster of the Dax. The 2024 model now gets a new gear position indicator and a clock. The USB-C charging socket also comes as standard.
The Dax gets its power from the same 124cc single-cylinder that is used on the Grom and the Super Cub and also the MSX125 scooter. It gets a four-speed gearbox and makes 9.5bhp at 7500 rpm. The Dax is built around a stamped steel frame and is being positioned as a fun motorcycle to have. It gets the traditional telescopic forks, 12-inch wheels front and back, LED lights and decent looking LCD instrument cluster.
Sadly, this motorcycle won’t be launched in India anytime soon. Honda India did try to spice things up with the cool-looking Navi, but it wasn’t received well in India. However, the Navi is still made in India and exported to various markets like the US.
