Just last month, we told you about Honda’s plans of launching 10 electric vehicles by 2025 and the Activa e-scooter is one of them. And now, design pictures of one of the scooters have been leaked.
The Japanese brand will also launch an electric moped that has design inspirations from the legendary Cub. This moped is likely to be one of the first ones to be launched in the global markets. From the leaked pictures, it is clear that this moped will get a small hub-mounted electric motor along with a pedal-assist feature to take care of the range anxiety problem.
In terms of other features, the Japanese brand has kept it simple to make the product a cost-effective one. The design of the wheels, seat, floorboard and also body panels are quite simple. A moped like this makes complete sense in India as it’s practical and also affordable. However, moped as a segment isn’t big in India at least not in the personal mobility segment.
