Honda has unveiled its 2021 Forza range for the international markets, and among the list is the latest iteration of the Forza 125 maxi-scooter. The scooter gets an updated design along with a Euro5-compliant motor. Here we explain the 125cc maxi-scooter in detail.
Design
Styling updates include redesigned front and side fairings, mirrors, rear side panels, and the engine cover. The latest design aims to deliver a sleeker overall look and improve the aerodynamics. The styling revisions are limited to cosmetic changes. The chassis, on the other hand, remains unchanged.
Features
The Forza 125 is equipped with features like full LED lighting, an electric screen, an ACG starter, Idling Stop system and a Smart Key ignition. The electric screen on the 2021 model gets an updated design and it adjusts with an extra 40mm travel. The 2021 model also gets a USB port instead of the ACC 12V charging point that was present on the old scooter.
Colours
The 2021 Forza 125 will be available in five colour options – Mat Cynos Grey Metallic, Pearl Cool White, Pearl Nightstar Black, Lucent Silver Metallic, and Mat Carnelian Red Metallic.
Engine
Mechanical specifications include a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that makes 14.75bhp of power at 8,750rpm and 12.2Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine can propel the scooter to a claimed top speed of 108km/h.
Hardware
The suspension hardware comprises of telescopic front forks and twin shocks at the back. Anchoring duties are performed by a 256mm front disc and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The safety net on the Forza 125 includes Honda Selectable Torque Control and ABS.
