Honda has revealed the 745cc version of its Forza maxi-scooter range for the international market. The maxi-scooter packs several premium features along with a 745cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine. Here we explain the new Honda Forza 750 in detail.
Design
The new Honda Forza 750 packs a muscular and sharp styling. The front fascia includes an apron-mounted twin-pod headlight along with fairing-mounted mirrors, and a tall windscreen. The saddle features a single-piece layout with a step-up design. The 2021 Forza 750 will be offered in four colour options – Jeans Blue Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red, Matt Beta Silver Metallic and Graphite Black.
Features
The Forza 750 packs premium features such as full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled five-inch TFT screen, smart key ignition, USB charging port, and the Honda Smartphone Voice Control. Luggage solutions include a 22-litre underseat storage that is claimed to be large enough to store a full-face helmet.
Electronics
The maxi-scooter comes with a ride-by-wire throttle and four riding modes – Standard, Sport, Rain and User. The User mode can be customised as per the rider’s preference. The safety-net includes ABS, three-level Honda Selectable Torque Control and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) function. The scooter also gets a six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Engine
Mechanical specifications include a 745cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produce 57.8bhp at 6,750rpm and 69Nm of peak torque at 4,750rpm. The Japanese brand will also offer an A2-license version of the scooter that will make 47bhp at 6,000rpm and 65Nm at 4,000rpm.
Hardware
The suspension setup on the Forza 750 includes 41mm upside-down front forks and a mono-shock at the back. The braking tasks are handled by twin 310mm discs at the front and a single 240mm rotor at the back.
