Sales of the Honda Grazia have crossed one lakh units. This feat was achieved within a short span of just five months.
The Honda Grazia was introduced in the 125cc scooter segment as a trendier alternative to the Activa 125. While the conservatively-styled Activa 125 is marketed as a family scooter, the Grazia is targeted at the youth. To up its sporty appeal, the Grazia features edgy styling inspired by maxi scooters, quite similar to the Dio. The front apron gets an LED headlamp setup, while the instrument console gets twin digital displays.
Although the market for 125cc scooters was limited to the Vespa, Activa 125 and the hugely popular Suzuki Access 125 until recently, there are quite a few options right now. TVS has come up with the Ntorq 125 while Piaggio now has the Aprilia SR 125. Nevertheless, Honda seems to have caught the fancy of the audience with the Grazia 125. It remains to be seen how long Honda will be able to carry this momentum and whether the new entrants affect the sales of the Grazia.
