- Hawk 11 café racer to be unveiled next month
- Will get engine from Africa Twin
- Replaces the CB1100
Honda will unveil a brand new motorcycle sometime next month. This motorcycle will be called the Hawk 11 and it’s a café racer. The Japanese brand confirmed this new motorcycle development on their social media channels. A teaser picture was released on its platforms that confirms its genre – a modern retro motorcycle. The Hawk 11 is rumoured to replace the CB1100 which was discontinued a few weeks ago.
From the teaser picture, it is clear that the Hawk 11 gets café racer design inspiration. There’s a round LED headlamp placed inside a beautifully designed front fairing. The picture also reveals clip-on handlebar with round rear view mirrors.
The Hawk 11 will become the fourth motorcycle to be powered by the 1100cc parallel-twin engine that first debuted in the Africa Twin. The Rebel 1100 and the NT1100 also gets the same engine. In terms of tech and cycle parts, expect the Hawk 11 to get some exclusive bits as it belongs to a segment where the aspirations are quite high.
The Honda Hawk 11 will be unveiled at the 2022 Osaka Motorcycle show that will be held in Japan between 19 and 22 March. Unfortunately, this motorcycle won’t come to India as the café racer market is extremely small.
