- A new image of the fascia has been released
- Striking resemblance to the CB4 Interceptor teased back in 2019
Honda is all set to take the wraps off its latest Africa Twin-based offerings at the Osaka Motorcycle show this month. Apart from the Rebel 1100 and NT1100, Honda will also showcase a cafe racer model that has been teased again.
Christened as the Hawk 11, Honda’s latest offering gets a proper retro styling, as per the latest teaser image. The Monza fairing and the overall fascia is reminiscent of the CB4 Interceptor concept showcased back in 2019.
While the NT1100 tourer retains the Africa Twin’s chassis with a few tweaks to make it more road-oriented, the Hawk 11’s chassis and other underpinning details are yet to be revealed. We expect the cafe-racer to use the same motor – 1100cc parallel-twin unit. But Honda could use a different tune which the cafe racer sees fit and a similar approach for other parts.
All said and done, the wait isn’t too long as the Osaka Motorcycle show is scheduled from 19 to 22 March. Considering the demand for cafe racers in India is pretty low, the chances of Honda bringing the Hawk 11 here are slim.
