The all-new Honda Hawk11 was recently unveiled at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan. The motorcycle has been garnering a lot of attention worldwide, mainly for its design. In that case, we give you a close look at its styling in this image gallery.
The most attention-seeking design aspect of the Hawk11 is the bubble-style half-fairing with a round headlamp, similar to the likes of the Triumph Thruxton R and the MV Agusta Superveloce.
It features a beefy and sculpted fuel tank that joins the stubby tail holding a single-piece seat. With a clip-on handlebar and centre-set footpegs, it offers a sporty riding position but not as extreme as full-blown sportbikes.
The retro theme has been extended to the instrumentation with a round console but a digital one at that. It shows a lot of data but in a tightly packed layout.
Powering the motorcycle is a 1,082cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that has been borrowed from the Africa Twin and NT1100. Honda hasn’t revealed the power figures of the Hawk yet.
Further, the list of electronics isn’t a comprehensive one. It gets three preset riding modes, one customizable mode, traction control, and adjustable engine brake control.
The Hawk11 will start reaching dealerships in the international markets in the coming days. However, it’s unlikely to be launched in India, at least not anytime soon.
