Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has reported an increase of 43 per cent in their overall sales in November 2013. The company sold 3,19,080 units as compared to 2,23,145 units in the same month last year.
Motorcycle sales increased by 39 per cent to 1,50,995 units in November 2013 from 1,08,403 units in November 2012. The scooter sales also showed double digit growth of 46 per cent at 1,68,085 units from 1,14,742 units in the corresponding month last year.
"With a phenomenal 43 per cent YoY growth in November 13, Honda has grown at double the average industry growth of 22 per cent. Setting new records, HMSI sold 80,000 units alone on Dhanteras which emphasises customers preference for Honda two wheelers during the festive season," said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, vice president, sales and marketing, HMIL.
