Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) will be launching an entry-level commuter bike in the country tomorrow. Reports indicate that the upcoming two-wheeler will be the most affordable offering so far from the Japanese manufacturer in the country. It is believed that the new bike will be focused at rural buyers and will be limited to sales outside major cities.
Honda has not revealed details for the upcoming two-wheeler yet, however the vehicle is being introduced as an entry-level low cost bike. So we expect it to get humble features like conventional headlamp, drum brakes, spoke wheels and an analogue instrument cluster. It is rumoured that the bike might continue to be powered by the existing 110cc engine which will come mated to a four-speed gearbox.
More details about the new two-wheeler from Honda will be known after its launch tomorrow, followed by a ride, the day after.
