Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the Honda Dream Neo 110cc motorcycle in Mumbai for Rs 46,140 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The bike is Honda’s entry level bike and is available in three different trims and will sit below the Honda’s 110cc commuter Dream Yuga.
The base variant is equipped with kick-start, drum-brakes and spoke wheels while the mid trim replaces the spoke wheels with alloys and is priced at Rs 47,180. The top of the line variant also gets self-start along with the alloy wheels and will cost Rs 50,426.
The bike uses the engine found on the Dream Yuga with HET (Honda Eco Technology), but has enhanced it with intelligent ignition control to improve its fuel economy. The engine also has improved pistons and combustion chambers and produces 8.36PS and 8.63Nm.
Honda claims the Dream Neo will deliver a fuel efficiency of 74kmpl thanks to the advanced engine technologies. The Neo comes with a choice of six colours and its rivals include Hero Splendor, the Bajaj Discover 100 and the recently launched Mahindra Centuro.
