- Registered 35 per cent growth in year-to-date sales

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced its sales data for September 2022. The Indian arm of the Japanese manufacturer registered total sales of 5,18,559 units during the month as compared to 4,81,908 units in September last year.
Among these, the company sold 4,88,924 units in the domestic market and exported 29,635 units. In comparison, the two-wheeler maker sold 4,63,683 in the Indian market and 18,225 units internationally in September 2021.
The year-to-date figures, too, witnessed growth. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India registered a 35 per cent growth and it sold 25,22,552 units during April-September 2022.
Speaking about the sales performance, Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said that the auto industry registered a strong demand force in the second quarter and this momentum continues to rise with the ongoing festival celebration.
