Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced its new 'Extended Warranty Plus' program. This initiative allows customers to acquire an extended warranty within a flexible window of 91 days to the ninth year from the date of vehicle purchase. Thus it offers a comprehensive 10-year warranty coverage. The benefits are transferable in the event of a change in ownership. Notably, this extended warranty is available for scooter and motorcycle models up to the 250cc segment.
The Extended Warranty Plus program includes comprehensive coverage for crucial engine components, along with other essential mechanical and electrical parts. It offers customers three flexible options:
- A three-year policy for vehicles up to the seventh year of age
- A two-year policy for vehicles in their eighth year
- A one-year policy for vehicles in their ninth year.
These options provide coverage for up to 1,20,000km for all scooter models and up to 1,30,000km for all motorcycle models. Customers can access this service at any authorised Honda service centre, with the pricing starting as low as Rs. 1,317 for models up to 150cc and Rs. 1,667 for 150cc to 250cc models. The pricing structure varies based on the purchase year of the vehicle, ensuring flexibility and affordability for all customers.
