Honda seems to be going aggressive on increasing its reach in the country. A few days back the company had opened a new showroom in Chennai and now it has inaugurated its first dealership in the country's North-Indian city, Chandigarh. The new retail outlet is located at Honda BigWing Unit No. GF 2&3, Ground Floor, City Emporium Mall, Plot No. 143-A Industrial Phase-1, Chandigarh East.
The company right now has over 40 BigWing dealerships across the country. The BigWing showrooms are differentiated by the fact that it displays Honda's premium motorcycle offerings like the CB350, CB350RS, CB500X, CB650R, CBR650R, CBR1000RR-R, Africa Twin and the Gold Wing.
Talking about the company's latest operations, the deliveries of its flagship tourer the Gold Wing have commenced in the country. The Gold Wing is powered by a 1,833cc liquid-cooled six-cylinder engine that churns out 124.7bhp of power and 170Nm of twist. The ex-showroom (Delhi) price of the bike starts at Rs 37.20 lakh.
The company has also hiked the prices of the CB350 and the CB350RS in the country. Both motorcycles are powered by a 348cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivers 20.78bhp of power and 30Nm of torque. The ex-showroom (Delhi) price of the CB350 range starts at Rs 1.90 lakh.
