Honda revealed the PCX Hybrid along with an electric version called the PCX Electric at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show yesterday. Here is the photo gallery of the two scooters -
The PCX Hybrid and the PCX Electric are based on Honda’s PCX petrol-powered maxi-scooter.
The PCX Hybrid uses a hybrid drive system, with Honda’s new high-output electric motor to assist the engine.
The PCX Electric on the other hand, is powered by two lithium ion batteries along with a high-output motor.
The scooters get an all-LED headlamp unit, semi-digital instrument cluster and a raised rear seat.
It gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup, while suspension setup consists of telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear.
Both the PCX Hybrid along with its electric version will go on sale in Asian markets next year.
