Honda applies for a patent for 300TT Racer roadbike

Honda had unveiled a café racer concept called the 300TT Racer at the 2016 Bangkok Motor Show in Thailand. Now, Honda has put in a patent for the sporty looking motorcycle which is based on Honda’s 286cc single-cylinder platform.

The 300TT Racer is based around the same underpinnings as the CBR300R and CB300F and is inspired by the retro racing motorcycles of the yesteryears. The patent image of the Honda 300TT Racer is almost identical to the concept it had displayed. It continues to use the same sculpted fuel tank, short rear section, sporty single seat and minimalistic bodywork. The clip on handlebars and the rear set footpegs have been re positioned to suit real world rideability. Surprisingly, the concept has also kept its megaphone exhaust.

If this patent image filling is true and if Honda does sell it in India, it will, by far, be the best looking motorcycle in its segment.
