- Honda is working on 10 new EVs
- Activa Electric launch in 2024
- Will also launch swappable batteries
We are just a few days away from Honda's official EV announcement for the Indian market. But some of the details have already been leaked.
According to a report, the Japanese brand plans to launch 10 electric vehicles in the Indian market. The first EV is likely to be the Activa electric which will be launched in the first half of the following year. This Activa electric is expected to get a fixed battery setup, but a few more products are rumoured to be offered with swappable battery solutions.
Meanwhile, ann electric moped under development has been given the codename K4BA. This two-wheeler will likely debut next year and will fully use Honda's swapping service that the company started in 2021. Currently, this service is being used by electric auto rickshaws.
Honda is one of India's few big two-wheeler companies that is a little late to the EV game. But the company will go aggressive in the segment starting next year. The Japanese brand is planning to reveal its EV plans on March 29, and that is when we will know the company's EV aggression for the Indian market.
