Honda is going to unveil six new motorcycles on Monday, according to its international website. We already know what three of them will be: the triplets powered by the new 500cc twin-cylinder engine.
The three have been caught without camouflage by Hell for Leather magazine, and you'll be glad to hear that a fully-faired sport-tourer is the first of the three. This should take the fight nicely to the Kawasaki Ninja 650R in India with its Fireblade styling, especially if Honda manage to price it below Rs 5 lakh. The second in the lineup is the naked version, called the CB500. It shares cues from the CB1000, as expected, but the surprise package is the CB500X - a dual-sport-type that should find a good response from those who like the type. The latter will not make it to the Indian market, unfortunately, but the naked should make it here a little after the fully-faired sibling.
Among the other motorcycles hidden under the covers on the Honda website, we can make out that one is a cruiser, but what the other two are will be confirmed only in five days' time, during the runup to EICMA.
