Honda is going to launch a new urban scooter, christened Grazia, in the second week of November. Honda dealers will start accepting bookings for the scooter for a token amount of Rs 2,000 from 25 October.
While Honda stopped short of releasing an official photo of the Grazia, spy shots of the scooter taken at a dealer stockyard give us a clear glimpse of how the scooter will look like. The Grazia gets sharp body lines and an apron-mounted headlamp which give it an aggressive character, quite similar to the Dio. It rides on telescopic front forks, and even gets a disc brake for the front wheel. It is expected to be available in a host of funky dual-tone paint schemes to increase its appeal among the youth.
Details about the Grazia’s powertrain are still not available. Given that the cycle parts are superior to the Dio and the Activa, we can expect the Grazia to command a higher premium than these scooters. We can expect more details to be revealed on 25 October.
