- Will feature a revised fascia
- Could also be equipped with a pair of cornering lights
- Likely to carry over the same engine
Honda is set to update its rugged scooter, the X-ADV, in the international market very soon. The Japanese scooter will receive design and feature tweaks for its latest generation and here’s what we know about it.
Honda will revise the X-ADV with a new headlight setup. The updated model will feature a new unit, which will be mounted comparatively lower than the one we see on the current model. This will also allow Honda to set up a three-piece headlight and include a pair of cornering lights for added convenience.
Then, the exhaust positioning will also change since the X-ADV could get an upswept unit, which will have a similar form as that of the SCL500. This will allow the scooter to have more clearance on the right side and also offer more convenience for the pillion’s seating. Apart from that, the X-ADV will retain its remaining hardware and overall features.
You can expect it to be powered by the same 745cc parallel twin motor with the output rated at 58.6bhp and 67Nm. The X-ADV rides on USD front forks and a monoshock and its braking hardware comprises a dual front and single rear disc mounted on 17-inch alloys.
Honda currently sells the X-ADV in the international market only. In the UK, it’s priced at GBP 11,199 (approximately Rs. 11 lakh, sans taxes). Its entry into the Indian market is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
