- Transalp 750 patent pictures leaked
- Gets design inspiration from CB500X, Africa Twin
- Likely to debut at EICMA 2022
Just a few days ago, Honda unveil the brand new Hornet 750 – a streetfighter builds to take on some heavy middleweight motorcycles. And now, Honda is planning to take on the adventure segment with the new Transalp 750.
This upcoming adventure bike was spotted on a shoot a few weeks ago. While those pictures did reveal a lot of design traits of the bike, the bike wasn’t seen in full glory. But now, thanks to some leaked patent pictures, the world will know what the Transalp 750 will look like.
From these pictures, it is clear that the Japanese brand has taken inspiration from the Africa Twin as well as from the CB500X. The front of the bike resembles the 500cc touring motorcycle, whereas the side and the tail section are highly inspired by the famous Africa Twin. A lot of design elements are seen in the Hornet 750 as well, which is obvious as both bikes are built on the same platform.
The Transalp will get 21 front and 18 rear wheels setup, just like the Africa Twin. It is expected to be loaded with riding modes and also a traction control system. But it is highly unlikely to get the touchscreen instrument cluster that is seen on the Africa Twin.
Honda is positioning the new 750cc range as a value-for-money motorcycle as the Hornet 750 undercuts the Yamaha MT-07. So we believe the Transalp 750 could become one of the most affordable bikes in the segment. This ADV could make its world debut at the upcoming 2022 EICMA Show and will be launched in India at the beginning of next year.
