- Honda Transalp ADV may make EICMA 2022 debut
- Likely to be powered by 750cc parallel-twin engine
- Will rival Tenere 700
The rumours of Honda developing a smaller Africa Twin have been on for a year years now. But just last year, the news of Transalp 750 made it to the internet.
Now reports are suggesting that the upcoming 750cc adventure bike could be unveiled at the 2022 EICMA. It seems that this motoring show could give a big platform to Honda which has been wanting to enter the world of middle-weights.
As of now, there are no motorcycles between 500cc and 1100cc for the Japanese brand. A new 750cc parallel-twin motorcycle platform could bridge this large gap that has been created over the years. The new Hornet CB750S could become the streetfighter sibling of the Transalp.
Currently, the middle-weight ADV segment is dominated by Yamaha Tenere 700, KTM 890 Adventure and the BMW 850GS. A 750cc ADV from Honda would excite the market.
