- Dax ST 125 unveiled
- Gets motor from Grom, Super Cub
- Available in two colours
Honda loves to experiment when it comes to motorcycles that are small in size but works effectively. After making two-wheelers like the Super Cub and Grom, the company has made a new one – the Dax ST125 – a minimoto.
The Dax name is not new and the Japanese brand used to sell it in Europe. But for 2023, the brand has revived it, gave it new styling, a new engine and some useable features.
The Dax gets its power from the same 124cc single-cylinder that is used on the Grom and the Super Cub and also the MSX125 scooter. It gets a four-speed gearbox and makes 9.5bhp at 7500 rpm. The Dax is built around a stamped steel frame and is being positioned as a fun motorcycle to have. It gets the tradtional telescopic forks, 12-inch wheels front and back, LED lights and decent looking LCD instrument cluster. The Dax tips the scale at just 107kgs making it super light. There’s ABS and also disc brakes.
Honda
claims that the Dax can easily fit two adults and can manage a cruising speed of 90kmph. This motorcycle will be sold in two colours – red and grey and as of now, there are no information on the pricing and also the dates when it will go on sale in Europe.
