Honda unveils Hornet streetfighter concept at EICMA 2021

- Honda Hornet concept unveiled

- Middle-weight street fighter

- Gets high-revving engine

Honda has unveiled their latest concept – the Hornet streetfighter at the ongoing EICMA show in Italy. The company has released an image and also a teaser video to announce the return of the Hornet brand.

The Japanese brand hasn’t revealed much about this upcoming motorcycle, but it did mention that this brand will be a middle-class motorcycle with modern design and high-revving engine character. This makes us believe that the company must be working on a new range of 700cc-800cc of motorcycles.

There are rumours suggesting that the Hornet will be powered by a 755cc parallel-twin motor. In fact, this engine platform could bring in a range of new motorcycles like an adventure or faired motorcycles. And if this does happen, then we can see the new Honda Hornet taking on the bikes like the Triumph Trident which has managed to gain good fan following, in India and also in other markets.

We can expect the production version of the Honda Hornet debut sometime in 2022 and also go on sale in the same here. Will it come to India? Well, only time will tell us that.
