- Now comes with a new paint scheme
- Launched in Europe
- Gets the same mechanicals and other bits
Honda has launched the 2024 Dax in the European market. The mini-moped has received a new cosmetic tweak for 2024 while retaining the mechanicals, design and hardware.
The Honda Dax will now be offered with a new paint scheme of Pearl Glittering Blue. With this colour option, it is now draped in a Blue shade all over with a black and white stripe near the tank area. The latest paint option will be offered alongside the existing Pearl Nebula Red and Pearl Cadet Grey. Apart from this, the Dax continues to use the same engine and other bits.
Powering the 2024 Dax is a 124cc air-cooled, single-cylinder motor and it makes 9.25bhp and 10.8Nm. The engine is nestled in a press backbone chassis with the fuel tank integrated into it. The setup is suspended on 31mm conventional telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks. The brakes on the Dax include a 220mm front disc and a 190mm rear disc mounted on 12-inch cast aluminium wheels. The Honda Dax weighs just 107kg.
Honda is currently offering the Dax in the international market only. It is unlikely to launch in India any time soon. In the UK, the Honda Dax costs GBP 3,799 (approximately Rs. 3.93 lakh sans taxes). This makes the Japanese moped quite expensive for the Indian market. Moreover, the two-wheelers sold here are focused on usability which would be limited on the Dax, given its small size and structure.
