- Comes in a new colour scheme
- Remain unaltered mechanically
- Not coming to India anytime soon
Honda has updated one of its most interesting and globally popular offerings, the X-ADV, for 2023. As a part of the model year update, the adventure scooter comes donning a new Shasta White paint scheme along with rugged graphics around its tail and centre spine.
The last major update the X-ADV received was just last year. Hence, Honda’s move to bring in just a new colour for 2023 is justifiable. The scooter conveys its adventure intentions right from the moment you set your eyes on it. It comes equipped with spoke wheels, upside-down front forks, tall windscreen, engine sump guard, and an extremely chiseled bodywork, all of which make it look quite distinctive and brawny.
Another highlight of the Honda X-ADV is its engine. The 745cc, twin-cylinder motor churns out 57bhp and 69Nm and comes mated to a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) like the Honda Africa Twin. Furthermore, the feature list is equally impressive with a Bluetooth-enabled five-inch TFT display, Honda Smartphone Voice Control system, smart key, and full-LED lighting. Making it even more useable are things like 22-litre under-seat storage space, a 1.2-litre glovebox, a USB charging port, and a centre stand.
Unfortunately, the Honda X-ADV is unlikely to hit the Indian shores anytime soon. However, if you’re on the lookout for an ultra-premium scooter, BMW Motorrad India has the C 400 GT.
